MailerLite integration – Double Opt-in does not work

I’ve setup Forminator with the MailerLite integration. The double opt-in feature does not work. Yes, it is activated within MailerLite. This is confirmed with the supportteam of MailerLite. When I use the MailerLite for WordPress plugin, it works. (But that plugin is a nightmare, styling-wise. ;-))

So, why isn’t the integration working? Any thoughts?
