Stripe & Restricted API keys

I have read the documentation on upgrading to the new restricted API key and have some questions.

I currently have several forms using Stripe. Do I first need to Disconnect from Stripe within Forminator Payment Settings before I configure Stripe to use the RAK? Are all Forms using Stripe then offline during the changeover to the RAK?

Test vs Live mode. Currently, I have API keys for both Test & Live mode. The Stripe field in individual forms can be either Test or Live with Stripe.

In the documentation, it says that:

“IMPORTANT

Note that if the app is installed in live mode, it will not be accessible in test mode (or vice versa), and it will need to be separately reinstalled in test mode by following the installation steps.”

This is confusing. Does this mean that the Forminator to Stripe connection can either be installed in Live or Test mode, but not both? We need to be able to develop new forms in TEST mode while existing forms continue to operate in LIVE mode.

Or, does this statement mean that I have to perform the installation process twice; once for Live and again for Test. And then I will have a Live RAK and Test RAK concurrently?

Thank you for clarification before I upgrade to RAKs.
