Delay and missing form_submit after moving to smtp

Hey,
recently I had to switch from phpmailer to smtp plugin (fluentsmtp) because phpmailer started sending emails to spam.

Now the problem: when I submit a form, the form is submiting for about 5 sec.. That wouldn’t be much a problem, even when the user close the page when submiting, it will still send. But I have found out, that in google tag manager, it won’t register the form_submit action, but just the form_start. So problem will be when user come from ad and will submit the form and won’t wait for redirection, then it won’t create a conversion.
