Just as the title says, I am trying to create a registration form, which has “manual approval” option set for new submissions. The custom part that I want to achieve is, rather then just store the information until the approval, have the submission create a regular account (customer role from woocommerce) and later upon admins approval, the created user would get custom role (for example purposes “Customrole”).
This way, user can immediately use the account (if they intend) and also we avoid the confusion and extra setup that you would need to do – to separate the submitted users from non-existent ones, when they are trying to log in.

also I have added few custom meta keys, which need to populate the wordpress users data (phone and city) which are not being displayed in the default meta key mapping, therefore I cannot simply connect them to each other and need custom code.
I believe such solution is common, I just haven’t found it without extra code (I am quite amateur at it) so I do not want to fiddle with it too much.
